Unheard: A Thoughtful Discussion on Law Enforcement and Communities of Color

The nation is grappling with social unrest escalating in the wake the death of another unarmed person of color at the hands of law enforcement. With the country examining injustice, inequality, and abuse of force, Keystone Policy Center conducted Unheard, a webinar featuring Terrance Carroll – the first African American Speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives and a reserve police officer. Carroll joined Keystone President and CEO Christine Scanlan for a thoughtful conversation on the relationship between law enforcement and communities of color, its ramifications for society, and steps leaders can take to enact meaningful change.
