Trace Faust

Trace Faust has over 15 years of experience as a facilitator, educator, community engagement leader, and designing capacity-building processes. Trace’s work centers on ensuring the voices and realities of our most disproportionately impacted communities are centered in meaningful ways throughout systems change efforts and policy decision making processes. Additionally, Trace has been a school teacher, district leader, school leader, and foster parent.

A sampling of current and past work includes: facilitating the Colorado Governor’s bipartisan Property Tax Commission, conducting community-wide listening sessions to discuss the impacts of the country’s largest singular public school closure effort, conducting a study and developing recommendations for funders and advocacy organizations interested in better supporting single-site charter schools, and facilitating a two-year statewide task force tasking with analyzing the effectiveness of and issues with the law requiring individuals from specific professions to report suspected child abuse to authorities.
