Margaret McGuirk

Margaret McGuirk (she/her) joined the Keystone Policy Center in 2023 as a project manager in the Center for Agriculture. At Keystone, she focuses on pollinator health and market-based climate change solutions, while supporting additional projects that build agricultural networks to meet climate and community sustainability needs.

Prior to joining Keystone, Margaret worked as a graduate fellow at the Wallace Stegner Center for Environmental Dispute Resolution while earning her Master of Science in Environmental Humanities from the University of Utah. Her professional and academic work focuses on finding a sustainable future for agriculture and rural communities in a rapidly changing world. Her search for innovative, community-based solutions has taken her from her first home among cattle farms in Maryland to the United Kingdom, Greece, Pennsylvania, rural Montana, Utah, and Colorado. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dickinson College.
