Eric Olson has joined Keystone as an affiliate to develop a climate and energy strategy with signature programs that build on Keystone’s long track record of thought leadership and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Eric is working with Keystone staff and members of both the Energy Board and Board of Trustees identify and align on projects that can accelerate sustainable energy infrastructure development in the context of risk/resilience and availability/affordability.

Eric has over 25 years of experience building innovative multi-sector collaborations and sustainability consultancies, most recently as MD Sustainability Services for Accenture in NA. Previously he served as Senior Vice President for BSR (Business for Social Responsibility), where he spent 16 years of his career as a thought leader in sustainable business strategy, leadership in climate and energy, supply chain resilience and multi-stakeholder collaboration for impact at scale. Prior to that he served as a Vice President at the Boston Consulting Group and was a Partner and Founding Member of the Mitchell Madison Group, a global consultancy focused on strategic sourcing and risk management.

Eric has a master’s in philosophy in Russian and East European Studies from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar, and a B.A. in Chemistry and Russian from Macalester College.
