George joined Keystone Policy Center in 2024 with several years of experience in conservation, climate, and equity-centered natural resources policy. Before coming to Keystone, George worked with SE Group on outdoor recreation policy analysis, with ICLEI USA on equitable climate policy for local governments, with a nonprofit land trust on conservation stewardship, and with the USDA Forest Service on natural resource management. George has recently earned a Master of the Environment degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Policy from the University of Colorado – Boulder. George also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Politics from Whitman College in Washington.
