Next 100 Colorado Accepting Applications for Mentorship Program

Are you a person of color interested in growing your network and thinking differently about professional development in Colorado’s natural resources management, conservation, or outdoor recreation fields? Apply to participate in the Next 100 Colorado Mentorship Program — a program aimed at uplifting and connecting BIPOC leaders with a demonstrated commitment to a career in the outdoors.

The Next 100 Colorado Mentorship Program is a six-month program for a cohort of mentors and mentees designed to help connect Colorado’s emerging and seasoned leaders of color through a series of partnerships, network formation, and leadership building. The program consists of full cohort gatherings (including an orientation), one-on-one meetings, and a closing celebration, in addition to an online environment through which the group will be able to connect and share resources. The roughly six-month program, launched by Next 100 Colorado last year and originally designed in partnership with Youth Outside, creates brave and unique spaces for BIPOC professionals to connect with peers and mentors from similar backgrounds and further develop their leadership skills.
